The ladies

Matron of Honor ~ Jamie Gaylord

Rebeca and Jamie have been near and dear pals for nearly a decade. They met while working with little ones at the Center for Autism & Related Disorders and quickly bonded as roomies on work related trips, resulting in very tidy living quarters and barrels and barrels of laughs. Rebeca lovingly refers to Jamie as her Jiminy Cricket. When Rebeca has needed to lean on a trusted friend whether it was regarding work or life's many quandaries, Jamie has been there.  A mutual love for fur and all things snuggly, Jamie has a keen understanding of how to make others feel love and supported. When Rebeca decided to move to San Francisco, Jamie was in the processes of  returning  from  an almost a year long"Braylord World Tour" in Europe, and "upon return" we are talking about a mere few days.  Jamie was the first to offer to help, no questions asked. She was drove "Sweet Pea" while Rebeca drove the uhaul. Side Note- a BIG "thank you" to Jamie's Hubby, Dave who so brilliantly pointed out that our plan to hitch my fiat to a uhaul and drive up the grapevine was not the wisest of choices. When Jamie met Adam she loved his face and he loved hers, and that meant the world to Rebeca.  Jamie is the kind of friend that laughs with you, cries with you and most of all loves you for who you are. This friendship spans so many wonderful levels and is one that Rebeca will treasure forever and ever.

Raquel Goodwin~ Bridesmaid

Rebeca and Raquel met in the early 80’s; hence, their memories span decades. A mutual love for learning the Spanish language, this passion brought them closer together. Being roommates for many years also helped solidify their intimate understanding of each other’s best contributions to the relationship that one would call “sisterhood.”  A mere 14 months apart they have been buddies for quite a spell. The earliest and sweetest of memories revolve around choreographing dance numbers, making hello kitty dreams come true on each other’s birthdays, and Summer Adventures to Mexico City to spend time with “our people.”  When Rebeca needed insight into her fashion choices (aka to wear or not to wear shorts) Raquel was there to give her honest opinion. When Rebeca needed to go to pre school, Raquel would watch her through the window, rumor has it she stood there for hours and hours awaiting her return. Through their formative years Raquel was a beautiful example of a passionate, intelligent and resilient young lady. As a young woman Raquel committed to pursuing her dreams and building a beautiful family with her wonderful husband Don. Raquel has been extremely supportive during the planning of the “Big Day,” and for that Rebeca is extremely grateful and blessed.

Amanda Nesicolaci~ Bridesmaid

Sweet Amanda is Adam’s little sis aka "mini" and Rebeca’s soon to be sis in law aka little “panda.” Rebeca and Amanda connected immediately with a mutual love and admiration for  chubby babies, snuggly puppies, and anything with a hint of tenderness. Amanda is one of the kindest most intuitive ladies Rebeca knows. When Rebeca couldn’t be much help in putting furniture together, Amanda was there to be patient and hard working alongside her big brother. When Rebeca had an allergic fit during a run through the hills, Amanda waited until it passed, because that’s just how she rolls. When Rebeca least expects it, Amanda sends her an amazing video of some furry creature or adorable baby. Amanda gives of herself without ever expecting anything in return. She spreads unconditional love as though she has a never ending supply. She has a heart of service which is a gift in itself, but pairing it with her pure heart makes her a precious gem. Rebeca is beyond excited to be blessed with another “little sis.”

Hannah Lim~ Bridesmaid

Hannah and Rebeca began bonding as mentee and mentor at the Center for Autism & Related Disorders. Hannah was a brilliant therapist from the very start. As the years progressed and Hannah moved onto different roles within the company, and  their relationship evolved into a wonderful friendship. When Rebeca needed to convince a pal to try something new and exciting, Hannah was always game. From potty training their favorite little ones to trying new things like “Crossfit,” Hannah has always been the best of sports. When Rebeca needed to commiserate about life’s little ups and downs, Hannah has been there.  Something that Hannah and Adam have in common is that they were both born and  raised in Torrance, California. So the holiday seasons are filled with Torrance adventures. Hannah is woman a woman to be admired, she is poised, intelligent and radiates beauty from the inside out. Hannah and Rebeca have shared some wonderful memories together and now that their little hearts are spread out from coast to coast ( Hannah is living it up in the BIG Apple)  the will continue  to cherish their mini reunions as they celebrate milestones in each others lives.

Emily Jane Keough ~ Bridesmaid

Emily Jane & Rebeca started working at the Center for Autism & Related Disorders from the very start. Together they got to experience promotions and trainings side by side. Emily has a gift of maintaining long-lasting friendships and making everyone around her feel like they are the most special and loved person. Whenever Rebeca has requested a pal to be up for a proper photo shoot ( aka 5..6..7..8) Emily has never hesitated. When Rebeca needed Emily to put on a sweatshirt during a mid night run to the market during  supervisor training in Los Angeles, she abided. When Emily and her Adam moved to San Francisco years and years ago to start their life in the city, Rebeca had the pleasure of visiting for birthdays and new year’s celebrations, “what if this was the plan?” On one such visit, Emily aka “the bird” accompanied Rebeca on her “first date” with Adam and Groomsmen, Ed aka “kiwi.” The night was filled with fantastic conversation and adventures from Chinatown to North Beach.  On the night of Rebeca and Adams engagement, Emily and her Adam helped host an intimate get together to celebrate the news at the Best restaurant in the city, Absinthe. Emily is always one to celebrate, and she has been extremely supportive and loving from the very beginning. Emily has a true heart of Gold wanting nothing more than to make others feel special. As she was there from the very beginning it is only fitting that she be there to help doll up all of our photo shoots on the big day.

Miranda Sparks ~ Bridesmaid

Miranda and Rebeca grew friendly at… you guessed it, the Center for Autism & Related Disorders. They worked with some amazing little ones, but that is not where the bond of friendship really took hold. Miranda always had a passion for health and wellness which Rebeca admired; this drive resulted in a desire to follow along in her footsteps. Miranda took on the challenge to help Rebeca. Becoming the first official client of Fit Fuel, Rebeca had the pleasure of enjoying some of the tastiest of meals while reaping the benefits of healthy eating habits. Miranda also introduced Rebeca to the wonderful world of Crossfit, which awakened a zeal for healthy competition resulting in some fun times. When they wanted to rate and explore every “speak easy” in San Francisco with their fellas ( Dan & Adam), Miranda and Rebeca took this task Very Seriously. Miranda has always listened, never judged and always loved. Miranda’s friendship comes with a sense of protection and fervent loyalty. In the month of May, she will be taking on a new adventure of “mommiehood."   Rebeca and Adam are very excited for Miranda and Dan’s new bundle of joy and can’t wait to snuggle that sweet "Baby Sparkles."  Therefore, whether Miranda and Dan are able to attend in person or via the world wide web, Rebeca can't imagine not having Miranda "be there."
